A highly consistent draw bowler, Robert Paxton is comfortable on both indoor and outdoor greens and not only claimed the world triples title for England in New Zealand in 2016, but also won a bronze medal in the singles as part of England's 2018 Commonwealth Games team.
He finally managed to win the World Indoor Singles title in 2020 on his third final appearance, claiming a tie-break win over his 2016 final opponent Nick Brett.
The Devon bowler has enjoyed plenty of other World Bowls Tour success, with a Scottish International Open win in 2011, and the pairs and mixed pairs double at Potters in 2015, as well as another mixed title, alongside Ellen Falkner, in 2019.
