For the 26th year Potters Resort at Hopton-on-Sea near Great Yarmouth will be the focus of the bowling world when the Imagine Cruising World Indoor Championships take over the resort from Friday 5th to Sunday 21st January 2024.

The feast of bowls will see World Champions crowned in the World Singles, World Open Pairs, World Ladies Matchplay, World Mixed Pairs and World Under 25 title.

Last year saw Jamie Walker take the singles title after an amazing tournament where both finalists had come through the UK qualifying competitions.

Greg Harlow and Nick Brett captured their third World Open Pairs title defeating Jason Greenslade from Guernsey and Michael Stepney (Scotland) in the final.

Katherine Rednall continued her dominance of the Ladies World Matchplay event when she beat former champion Ceri-Anne Glen in the final and lifted her fifth title.

Ceri-Ann who was making a comeback at Potters after a fifteen year gap did have the satisfaction of winning the World Mixed Pairs title alongside Stewart Anderson.

Daniel Pool from Annan became the first ever player to defend the World Under 25 title when he beat Darren Weir in the final in a repreat of the previous years final.

Bumper crowds are again expected at Potters throughout the championships and World Bowls Tour are delighted to have Imagine Cruising back on board for their second year as the headline sponsor of the event.

The first part of the tournament will be covered through out excellent streaming partners at Optical Media on the WBT Facebook and Youtube channels.

From Monday 15th to Sunday 21st January coverage will be available through BBC on BBC 2 and Red Button.
